Amy Thompson

Volunteer Coordinator

Amy has a background in Biosciences and has spent years working in project management and in the field of research, healthcare and diagnostics.

In the last few years, Amy took the leap into dedicating her time to learning about mental health and what makes people who they are by training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and practicing as a Counsellor and a Wellbeing Advisor.

Her combined background has led her to her new role, working as a Volunteer Coordinator here at the Hygiene Bank. Inspired by The Hygiene Bank story, she is keen to use her skills to contribute and support the charity in its growth and its role in benefitting others.
